the location charmed me it was on an island in the river thames with beautiful grounds i loved the historic buildings the staff seemed genuinely pleasant and helpful dining at the brasserie was also a highlight of my visit i chose a room on the island and it featured a balcony offering river views.
the cocktail menu in the bar was somewhat limited to me.

the room on the island included a great bathroom with a large shower. the location on the island was beautiful. the grounds are well kept. the staff was generally friendly and helpful.
the bar area seemed chaotic behind the bar. there was clutter, rubbish, and dirty glasses visible. the fruit for drinks was left out on a chopping board. there was constant noise from a dishwasher while sitting at the bar.

the island location was accessible and quite charming, i must admit.
The room was a bit of a letdown. The air conditioning was excessively loud, a real distraction when i wanted some peace. furthermore, the minibar selection was strangely limited. I expect more variety, honestly. also, i found an odd stain on the carpet. Not what i anticipated at this price!!!

The breakfast was quite decent (especially the pastries).
The room was quite small. It barely had enough space around the bed. A light for fire safety was also annoying. It stayed on all night and gave the room an eerie green glow.
